Bronze Medical PartPatriot Foundry & Castings is a leading nonferrous packaging industry casting foundry that specializes in producing sand castings of zinc, aluminum, and bronze alloys. Our mission is to help you solve your product development needs.

We work with our customers differently than your typical foundry. Patriot works with customers to develop new approaches, improve products, and reduce overall production costs. Meeting engineering challenges has been our passion for more than 20 years. We’ve earned the respect of the industry by actively partnering with our clients to solve their part development and manufacturing challenges.

We cast most parts for the packaging industry from 242, SR319, 356, A356, 535, 713, C865, C958, and C905 alloys. Our packaging industry customers include small-machine shops to a $3 billion conglomerate. We tackle projects anywhere from individual to thousands of parts, and currently cast packaging industry parts weighing from a few ounces to over 240 pounds. These parts include; brackets, housings, frames, rollers, forms, forming dies, finishing dies, vacuum dies, pins, wheels, heating plates, switches, handles, and many more. Our strict set of documented procedures, lean production methods, and energy efficiency protocols allow us to deliver repeatable, consistent and cost-effective products to our packaging industry customers.

Patriot is proud to be ISO 9001:2015 Certified.

Our packaging industry casting services include:

Assembly analysis/casting integration: We work closely with our packaging industry clients to pinpoint cost-saving opportunities. For example, we saved one customer 40% in production costs by determining that two castings and one welded piece could be cast as a single piece.

Reverse engineering: We use 3D scanning and design analysis to understand and replicate a part that’s been produced elsewhere. We’re also able to analyze chemical and metallographic characteristics to identify materials and post-production processes. Once this is determined, we consult with you to develop an effective action plan to move into production.

Prototypes: Computer modeling has its place, but nothing beats an actual physical prototype. Prototypes help evaluate a manufacturing process and offer a preview of how a part will look, feel and handle. At Patriot, we often produce fully functional prototypes, as well as non-working ones, our customers use in presentatons to potential investors, stakeholders and test market panels.
