Motor Component CastingIf you’re looking for a foundry that’s known for world-class automotive castings, you’re right where you should be. Patriot Foundry & Castings is a leading nonferrous automotive foundry that produces top-grade sand castings of bronze, aluminum, and zinc-based alloys. Whether you have a one-part job or a thousand-part job, we’re ready to take it on.  We cast products from half an ounce up to 232 pounds.

At Patriot Foundry, we follow a strict set of documented procedures and lean production methods. That means we’re able to provide repeatable, consistent and cost-effective products to our automotive clients.

We melt ingots of A356A357713C876C958ZA12ZA27, and many other alloys. For a full list of alloys and detailed information on each, visit our alloy casting services page. Our DUNS number is 826918117 and our CAGE Code is 54J41. Patriot Foundry & Castings is proud to be ISO 9001:2015 Certified.

Our automotive casting services include:

Assembly analysis/casting integration: We work closely with our automotive clients, to identify new approaches and opportunities to save. For instance, we saved one customer 60% in production costs by figuring out that two castings and one piece could be cast as a single piece. With our help, the company could recoup its costs in under two years.

Reverse engineering: 3D scanning empowers us to provide design analysis and replicate a part that’s been crafted elsewhere. We’re also capable of analyzing chemical and metallographic characteristics to identify materials and post-production techniques utilized. After this is determined, we consult with our clients to create an effective course of action to move to production.

Prototypes: Computer modeling will always have its place, but nothing beats a physical prototype. Prototypes help evaluate the efficiency of a manufacturing process and give an accurate preview of how a part will look, feel and handle. Oftentimes, the prototypes we produce are fully functional, but we also design non-working ones that can be presented to potential investors and test market panels.
