Our biotechnology industry customers range from small-machine shops to some of the largest companies in the industry. Whether you need a single part or thousands, Patriot is ready to be your industry partner.  We currently cast biotechnology industry parts weighing from a few ounces to over 50 pounds. These biotech castings include; tools, brackets, housings, frames, rollers, bases, switches, handles, and much more.

We adhere to strict set of documented procedures, lean production methods, and energy efficiency protocols that allow us to deliver repeatable, consistent and cost-effective products to our biotechnology customers.

While we cast most parts for the biotechnology industry from SR319, 356, A356, C865, C905, ZA12, and ZA27, Patriot Foundry offers a wide range of metal casting alloys. Our DUNS number is 826918117. Patriot is proud to be ISO 9001:2015 Certified.

Our biotechnology casting services include:

Assembly analysis/casting integration: We work closely with our biotechnology industry clients to determine where we may be able to trim costs. For example, we saved one customer 60% in production costs by determining that two castings and one piece could be cast as a single piece. Thanks to us, the company recouped its tooling costs in less than two years.

Reverse engineering: We use 3D scanning and conduct design analysis to replicate a part that’s been produced elsewhere. We can also analyze a product’s chemical and metallographic characteristics to identify materials and post-production processes used to create it. We’ll consult with you to develop an action plan for moving to production.

Prototypes: Computer modeling has its place, but there’s nothing better than an actual physical prototype. Prototypes help evaluate a manufacturing process and give a preview of how a part will look, feel and handle. At Patriot, we often produce fully functional prototypes, as well as non-working ones our customers use in presentations to potential investors, stakeholders and test market panels.
